About Us

Who we are:

ASISI is a small business run by Amanda Smith. A registered Support Coordination provider with the NDIS and a member of the Australian Community Workers Association. Amanda has worked in the Community Services Sector for 15 years.

Our small team is growing and now includes two Support coordinators and two Psycho Social Recovery Coaches. Everyone who works at ASISI comes to us with a wealth of knowledge and experience around supporting people who live with Psycho Social Disability and or lived experience of Trauma. It is a focus of our work to be Person centred in our approach and to always ensure the Participant is the decision maker in guiding supports.

We have a team of Support Workers that can assist with Social and community access. Individual support teams are handpicked by the participant as no-one understands support needs as well as the individual requiring support. Choice and Control is pivotal to everything we do.

The mission of Addressing Social Isolation Shoalhaven Illawarra is to support individuals living with a Disability to:

Ensure that you Support Coordination funding is maximized so that participants we support are able to utilize their funding to maximise their ability and minimize their disABILITY.
Feel like they are in control of their lives.
Feel like they are supported with their illness
Feel like they can access the community the same as they would have if they didn't live with Mental Illness.
To live life to the fullness they want to regardless of illness.
